The Middle East is a region where is king and fuel is cheap, often leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly ways of walking around.
But this year, as protests throughout the Middle East have risen the price of oil, the concern of discovering alternative sources of fuel has actually come into sharp focus.
In a region that has one of the greatest carbon footprints worldwide, one service is making the most of the growing pressure to find options to oil. It's set up the Middle East's very first scheme to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving successful too, currently their client-list consists of McDonald's.
